Dobová autenticita
Dnes jsme zvyklí na měnu, která se pravidelně obměňuje a starší mince rychle mizí z oběhu. Ve středověku to ale fungovalo jinak.
Mince zůstávaly v oběhu desítky let a bylo zcela běžné, že vedle nových ražeb kolovaly i výrazně starší kusy. Například pražské groše byly používány od 14. století až hluboko do období třicetileté války.
Novější mince sice často obsahovaly méně drahého kovu a postupně se zmenšovaly, ale starší, kvalitnější kusy z oběhu nemizely – naopak byly ceněné.
Navíc v obdobích krizí, jako byly husitské války, docházelo k výpadkům výroby. Kutnohorská mincovna tehdy delší dobu nepracovala, a tak bylo zcela běžné, že v oběhu zůstávaly i mince staré desítky let.
Proto je historicky věrohodné, když se ve vašem herním světě mísí různé typy mincí a různá stáří – přesně tak, jak tomu bylo ve skutečnosti.

It was closed again.

They stood.

They didn’t have to.
The door — where silver is not enough
The stairs ended before the silence began.
